Music for 'The ABC's of Death'
12/12/11 15:14

We’ve just written a new track entitled ‘Do What Thou Wilt’ for a film called ‘The ABC’s of Death’. Our remix of ‘Phantom is Alive’ by Deadride Phantom also appears in the film.
The film features 26 of the worlds most up and coming horror directors, who each have just a few minutes to tell their ‘letter’s’ story. We worked with director Simon Rumley who was given the letter ‘P’.

Cowboy & Indian also provided backing vocals for ‘Le Bon, Le Brute et Le Truand’ - a spaghetti western inspired song that also features on the album.

The Spring / Summer 2012 show for John Richmond in Milan on 21st September had a ‘disco for work theme’ according to Fashion TV!!!!
It certainly had a late ’70’s / early ’80’s Studio 54 dance influence to it, with remixes of Sister Sledge, Donna Summer, Telex & David Bowie. The encore was a mix of Adele & cult disco band Kano.

Kim Lone
06/07/11 10:54

We’ve just finished remixing Kim Lones ‘All The Men In My Life’ - an amazing song with burlesque overtones written by Jamie Morgan (who co-wrote several of Neneh Cherry’s hits) and producer Youth.
Kim contacted us and asked us to do a dance remix of the track. The original was in 3/4 and more of a ballad torch song - about as far away from a disco / electro track as you could imagine!
The biggest problem was speeding up the original vocals and making the performance sit in the new 4 beat setting. Hopefully we’ve succeeded in this with our nods to the early electro of Georgio Moroder and 80’s Hi-Energy disco.
John Richmond Menswear Show
20/06/11 11:35
The clothing in John Richmonds SS 2012 menswear show in Milan had a colourful tropical flavour - bright printed shorts, shirts & blazers to name a few.
Our music reflected this with a strictly reggae, dancehall and dub sound, that included our remixes of Bob Marley, Dave & Ansell Collins, The Specials, Queen and Cypress Hill.

Dragon Noir album
18/04/11 12:57

We’ve just finished producing and mixing the debut Dragon Noir album.
Dragon Noir are a Congolese band made up of the Massamba brothers - Oli on bass, conga’s and vocals, Manu on guitar, and Thierry Jr on drums.
We’ve taken their traditional funk / afro-beat sound and given it the Cowboy and Indian twist! So electro, psychedelia and dub - think of an Afro ‘Screamadelica’ and you won’t be far off!
The album is due for release early in the new year. Watch this space.

'Miss You x' party photo's!
04/03/11 11:24
The “Miss You x” party which Adil hosted with Spanish rock & roll designer Angel Noknok at the Tarantua club on the Kings Road London was a roaring success!
The Royal Organ duo who kicked off the evening went down a storm. They were supposed to perform a song with comedian Michael Barrymore, but he cancelled at the last moment. As a tribute to him they performed their version of Grand Master Flash’s ‘White Lines’! Incidentally, they will perform together at the next event.
The invite only event also featured fabulous live music from Radio 2 favourites 6 day Riot led by Tamara Schelsinger, who sings on some of the Dragon Noir tracks we’ve recently completed.
Plus the amazing Chrys Columbine, one of the stars of the British burlesque scene, performed her legendary piano recital, which saw her gradually lose all her clothes!
Also a big thanks to Spencer Mac for another rockin’ DJ set!
