'Miss You x’ party

Doc 1
Hoxton Square's Underbelly Club was the setting for another of Adil's "Miss You x" pop-up parties which as always was by invitation only.

The evening had a french theme-"Le Cabaret Rock and Roll" with the return of  Freaksville Records garage rockers Phantom accompanied by guest vocalists the iconic Parisian singer Marie France and Laetitia Sadier from cult indie band Stereolab.

Their amazing set included Brigitte Bardot's "Harley Davidson"and "Contact" and Serge Gainsbourg's "Intoxicated Man", ending with a rousing version of the Ramone's "Blitzkrieg Pop".

Fine support came from the 80s influenced pop-tastic Ollie Wride and the compelling, exotic burlesque performer Mademoiselle Adeline making her London debut.

One again, fashion designer John Richmond and guest dj Spencer Mac rocked the dance floor with an eclectic mix from swing and boogie woogie to electro pop.

The revellers who sipped on vodka cocktails courtesy of Vestal Vodka included the Belgian Ambassador, Depeche Modes's Martin Gore, Shoe designer Terry de Havilland and his wife Liz, S-Club 7's Tina Barret, Ian Drury's son Baxter Drury and Ringo Starr's grand daughter Tatia Starkey who plays bass in the the up and coming Bella Kiss who will be performing for us in the new year.......
